Amy S. Cheers for Her Mom

"My mom was an out-going cheerleader at Berkeley (California) HS in the late sixties. As one of the only active Mormons in a school of 6,000 students she was repeatedly required to defend her faith in a very liberal environment. Even at her 20 year HS reunion people thought she was crazy for having 5 kids and giving up her Master's Degree to stay home with them. I always knew we were her highest priority and that she never regretted her choices. She has always been my biggest cheerleader and can still do a mean high-kick."
